I am trying to override the messages that are displayed when the page workflow status changes. The default messages like 'This page has been Declined'  are defined within the Telerik.CMS.dll. I was wondering if anyone knew how to override these to display our own custom messages.

    Hello Paritosh Arya,

The label is set inside private method of PageEditorBase.cs which cannot be overridden. The text of the label is set in embedded resources, so the only way to change the label is modifying these resource files which are compiled into Telerik.Cms.dll as you have already noticed.

Correct me if I understood this properly, what you are suggesting is to extract the resource file modify the contents and recompile the Telerik.CMS.dll?

Is there no better way of overriding the resource file from within the code?

    Hi Paritosh Arya,

    1. There is not way for you to compile the dll or extract the resources from them.

    2. It is not possible to replace the text through the code.

It would not be possible to replace the label text.
