    Hi
I cloned Ivan's sample of products' custom module to create a member's (or you can say contact's) module.
It appears in the menu items under Modules but when i click on the menu item i get an error:
Invalid resource name (Telerik.Samples.HBRMembers.Resources.ControlTemplates.Backend.HBRMemberItemsList.ascx) for assembly (Telerik.Samples.HBRMembers, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null) or empty template.

I checked the layouttemplatename in HBRMemberItemsListView.cs with that of my directory structure and it looks fine. Is there any other place that I have to change a resource?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Richa

    Hello Richa,

The template is not in the specified location or the template is not set as embedded resource before compiling the class library.

    Best wishes,

    Ivan,
I can see in my project that the location is fine. Can you please tell me the steps of how to add the template as an embedded resource?

    Thanks

    Hi Richa,

You could take a look at File Properties

Thanks a lot, Ivan. Silly me, i was looking at project properties all the time, instead of file properties.

    Thanks again
