    Hi,

We are using Sitefinity 3.6 SP1

    Problem:

Using Sitefinity Admin interface we duplicated a page called "A" and created new page "B" (e.g copy of Page "A").
Now when we update the content of Page "B" (e.g. Duplicate page) Sitefinity also updates content of Page "A" (e.g Original Page).
Same is true when we update content of Page "A" (e.g Original Page) Sitefinity also updates content of Page "B" (e.g Duplicate page).

It seems that when you duplicate a page, Sitefinity creates a soft link so that both pages are connected and share the same content.

Please let us know how "Duplicate Page" process works within Sitefinity and what happens behind the scene.

We would also like to know how to fix above problem.

    Regards,
    Gaurav

    Hi Gaurav Mehta,

We are not able to reproduce this problem with Sitefinity 3.7 SP3. You could take a look at the attached video.
I suggest that you should upgrade your project to the latest official release.

If the steps in the video are not the same, let me know.

    Best wishes,

    Hello Gaurav Mehta,

We are not able to reproduce this issue with 3.6 SP1 as well. So we are not able to reproduce it with the latest official release and with the version you use.

    Hello Gaurav Mehta,

Follow up: you may experience this behavior if you use shared content items - changing the content of an item cause update to all instances of this item.

    All the best,
