    Hello,

I'm using Sitefinity V3.5, and our users are having problems adding hyperlinks to the images that they add to the generic content in the rad-editor. They upload the image, and then they select the image and click the "Hyperlink" button. In the hyperlink dialogue, they add the URL and try to insert, but it won't continue unless there is text in the display text text box. Alternately, if the image has an ALT, it appears in the text box when the dialogue loads. Either way, when they choose insert, the picture is removed and the contents of the text field are put in its place. The users do not know HTML, nor do they wish to, so that is not an option.

Any guidance you can offer would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hello David,

Thank you for using our services.

We cannot reproduce this problem locally working with Sitefinity 3.5 (1714). Which Sitefinity version do you use? Could you tell us whether you are able to reproduce the problem using different browser?

    Greetings,

Thank you for your quick response,

I am using the same version. I was using Firefox when I noticed the problem. I have been able to reproduce this behavior consistently in Firefox, but I have not been able to reproduce it in IE.

    Hello David,

I cannot reproduce this problem with FireFox version 3.0.10
We have similar problem in Sitefinity 3.6 hotfix (1870). We would recommend you to upgrade your project with the latest Sitefinity version (Sitefinity 3.6 SP2).

Even the Sitefinity demo site is displaying this error. Has this been resolved in SP2 or not?

    Hi Joel Konecny,

Sitefinity demo site is not upgraded with Sitefinity 3.6 SP2 (version - 1936). The demo site is running Sitefinity 3.6 hotfix (version - 1870). This problem has been resolved in Sitefinity 3.6 SP2 (version - 1936). You can check your version by the KB article: How to check your current Sitefinity version?
