Apparently the Product Module example in the developer documentation wasn't updated with the release of version 3.5. I've been trying to get it to work with problem after problem. I switched the controls in the example to use the proper references to RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. I'm now getting the error shown below. In addition, I downloaded the developer manual chm from the following link and all the pages are blank. http://www.sitefinity.com/support/documentation.aspx

    Hi Zahid Ali,

Rebuild your project and check whether there is a Telerik.Samples.Products.dll generated in your bin folder. Make sure that your Sitefinity project has reference to Telerik.Samples.Products class library.

"Make sure that your Sitefinity project has reference to Telerik.Samples.Products class library." - do you mean if this is being referenced in web.config?

Sorry if its a daft question - i'm PHP developer and literally using Visual Studio first time. :)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Zahid Ali,

When you have added the Telerik.Samples.Products module to your project and referenced it as in the guide how to install the module did you rebuild the solution?

    Hi Radoslav,

    I'm following this one: http://www.sitefinity.com/help/developer-manual/products-module-simple-implementation.html

and i'm getting so impatient now - it wouldn't work for me :(

I've tried everything step by step, removed the references and added them from the bin folder of the website and still it wouldnt work.

You know when i added the refereces, i got a message saying that the version in configuration was different. is this something where i could be going wrong?

i tried changing the version to 3.5 from properties.

    please help!

    thanks.

.. also, when i try to build the project I get 9 errors and loads of notifications - do you think this could be why the dll is not being created?

    Hi Radoslav,

Dont worry about it - I got it to work!

the link you sent me, although, it was same to other tutorial in the guide but this one worked for me!

I'm still not sure where I could've gone wrong but I have a feeling it was the .NET framework version.

Thanks for all your help - much appreciated.

    Cheers!
