    Hi there!

Will Sitefinity 4.0 support the RadListView-Control as provided in the Telerik.Web.UI in the new RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX?

Can you say something about the beta for SF 4.0. When will it be available?

Thanks in advance for a short reply.

    Dieter

    Hi Dieter,

Sitefinity 4.0 will support RadListView that is available in Telerik.Web.UI  2009.3.1208.35. The beta will be available after New Year, probably February or March, but there is not fixed public date that we could anounce right now.  We will also keep upgrading the Telerik.Web.UI in 3.x releases so you will be able to use RadListView class there.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Ivan!

Thank You for the quick reply. Do you have a date for the upgrade, so that I can use the RadListView in 3.x? I'm asking because I've to realize a pageable Product-List with Ajax-Support. So RadListView would be perfect.

    Nice greetings.

    Dieter

    Hi Jason,

Actually Sitefinity 3.7 SP2 has Terik.Web.UI, Version=2009.3.1103.35 which include Telerik.Web.UI.RadListView. If you have Sitefinity 3.7 SP2 you should be able to use RadListView control.

Hi Ivan, thanks for the reply. I have Sitefinity 3.7 SP2 installed, but how do I upgrade the assemblies in an existing project to 2009.3? Where are the Radcontrol binaries installed to? Thanks!

    Hello Jason,

If you have Sitefinity 3.7 SP2 you should have Terik.Web.UI, Version=2009.3.1103.35 ( or Terik.Web.UI, Version=2009.3.1103.20) in your bin folder and you should be able to use RadListView.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

I have two systems, one with a clean install of 3.7 SP2, which has the correct version of the assemblies, and my development pc which was installed with 3.7 sp1, and updated to SP2. On my dev system, the assemblies didn't get updated to the new assemblies as part of running the update with the Sitefinity_3_7_2057_standard package.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Jason,

First remove the old references from Sitefinity 3.7 SP1 project. Then paste all new dlls ( form SP2) to your bin folder. If the physical files - the dlls are in your bin it is not possible to have different versions there. You can take a look at our Upgrade Instruction for more detailed information about how to upgrade a Sitefinity project - Upgrade Instructions
