    Hi,

I have been looking for a sample pluggable module and came across the contacts video here http://www.sitefinity.com/Videos/Adding_Complex_Functionality_Through_Custom_Modules/ .

The source I have download does not have a security folder. here is the link I downloaded the source from.
     http://blogs.sitefinity.com/ivan/posts.aspx?Page=7

Does anyone know where to download the source that matches the video?

    Thanks
    Gary

    Hi Gary,

We could not locate the code you asked for.
We have started making sample modules with different level of implementation and they are available at the online Developer Manual. These modules are:

Unfortunately, we have not written the secured  version of a pluggable module yet. If you would like to see a secured pluggable module based on Generic Content, take a look at the following blog post:
In the mean time series (part 3): "Products" module - simple implementation with enabled permissions

As a side note, we are currently redoing the architecture of Sitefinity which will become available in release 3.6 . After that, we will redo all the examples in the manual since the architecture for making new modules will be quite different.

    All the best,

    Hi Sonya,

Thanks for the links, although I am aware of these as they are all part of your documentation. I definitly want a nongeneric pluggable module and the contact module appears to be your only example of the implementation.

On V3.6 - am I wasting time learning non generic pluggable modules in the current version?
Is 3.6 going to be release at the end of the month?

    Regards
    Gary
