I just noticed an odd problem with a SF 3.2 site I built a while back.  I have a single page index configured.  From the Administration page, if I re-index the entire site, the number of indexed words goes to 138 and the number of indexed pages goes to 138.

    What to index?

    PageIndex
    • Auto index: True
    • Index non-public pages: False
    • Starting node URL: All Pages

    Index status

    • Indexed words: 138
    • Indexed pages: 138
    • Last indexing date: 23 Nov 2010, 09:40

But there should be a lot more.  So I went to one of the pages in the site, and published it (without making any changes at all).  Now when I check the index, there are 337 words and 138 pages.

    What to index?

    PageIndex
    • Auto index: True
    • Index non-public pages: False
    • Starting node URL: All Pages

    Index status

    • Indexed words: 337
    • Indexed pages: 138
    • Last indexing date: 23 Nov 2010, 09:41

So for some reason, the page publishing triggers the correct indexing, but doing it manually from the Administration page does not.  What could be wrong?

    Regards,

Oops.  Never mind.  I discovered one of my controls throws an exception when the crawler hits the page.  I had a

    if (!Telerik.CmsContext.IsCrawlerRequest)

in the preinit event, but forgot it in the onload.  Doh.

    Thanks,
    Mike
