    We have a page that lists all of our blog posts and you're able to click "more" to view the detailed post.  Currently images are suppressed on the blog list page, which uses
    --> ~/Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Blogs/ContentViewItemList.ascx.

    I've also tried copying code from the single blog item page (ContentViewSingleItem.ascx), but can't seem to return images.

    Any suggestions on enabling this?

    Hello Jason M,

    Can you please tell us which version of Sitefinity you are using. Depending on that we will provide you with a solution.

    Thanks for the understanding.

    Hi Jason M,

    I am sorry for the late reply. The BlogPosts control in Sitefinity 3.2 SP 1 did not have designer so I understand that it is hard to find out why the image is not showing. Namely, there is a SummarySetting property that by default removes all image tags from the summary of blog post when in list mode.

    In order to display images, this is what you need to do:
    1. Edit the BlogPosts control
    2. Expand the Filters tab
    3. In the SummarySettings property replace the value:
      Words; 20; False; {img}
      with:
      Words; 20; False

    The last parameter of the property is the array of html tags to be cropped. Because img is there by default, BlogPosts was stripping the summary of all img tags.

    In latest version BlogPosts control has a ContentViewDesigner and there is a much more intuitive user interfaces where you can define what and how should be displayed in various modes of BlogPosts controls.

    I hope you'll find this information helpful. Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

    Best wishes,
