    Hi,

We are planning to implement multiple language support of one website that is currently available in English version.

We have watched your online video available here - http://www.sitefinitywatch.com/blog/09-09-10/Multi-Language_amp_Localization_Support_in_Sitefinity_Webinar.aspx

From this tutorial, we understand that Sitefinity administrator need to manually setup different pages for each language, which is a one-time process. Is there any setting available in Sitefinity 3.7, available so that, it automatically displays site in local language other than admin have to go through all english version pages and setup pages for different language. ?

In other words, to setup a page in other language, Sitefinity admin need to login, open that page in edit mode, click on other language, select the template as 'English version', set all the texts, set text for each control (button, label, linkbutton, etc ... ) and publish. When dealing with 600 pages for 5 more languages, this is very time consuming task.
Instead of this, is there any option to make this task easier  - which is available in Sitefinity 3.7 ?

I mean something like, just mention the language which the page should be displayed and once the page is requested in a different laguage, at runtime, the contents will get translated and display in requested language.

We are concern about this  because we have to work with 660 pages for five more languages. We need to make sure we are in the right path (Sitefinity admin need to manually create each page for each language and translate text) We believe the process that we know is very time-consuming and we are checking whether any other way is there which works with Sitefinity 3.7 ?

    Please reply

    Thanks
    Rajkumar

    Hello Rajkumar Gs,

Sitefinity allow you to copy the page's content from a language it is already created in. So you do not need to add all content, widgets, etc.

Thanks for the reply Radoslav .

So answer to my main question is - We need to manually work with all 660 pages each for all five languages. There is no other way which will automatically do the translation for all web page ?

    Thanks
    Rajkumar

    Hi Rajkumar Gs,

You can use code which is similar to the one in this KB article. This code executes on publish and takes the currently published page and creates language alternatives. You can use the CmsManager to get all pages on your site and run them through the code to create alternative language versions.
