Where is the documentation for the SiteMenu module? I couldn't find anything about how to use the module in the user manual.

I was able to have it work just fine when I use StartFromCurrentNode, but that is not what I need it to do. When I try to use StartingNodeUrl, I run into various problems.

First, if I put in just a relative URL, such as "Hompage_01/Who_We_Are.aspx", I get an unhandled exception,

    Server Error in '/' Application.
Could not find the sitemap node with URL 'Hompage_01/Who_We_Are.aspx'.

I realize that I obviously didn't enter the URL in
format which the app was expecting, but throwing an unhandled is just shabby.

I then tried putting the full URL into the field. In this case
    192.168.0.213/Hompage_01/MenuTest.aspx

This does not throw an exception, but instead completely locks up the site to the point where I have to restart the IIS service.

Clearly, I am not setting something correctly, but it should not be reacting this way.

All other modules and controls are working just fine and the CMS is quick and responsive. We have used RAD components for years including RadMenu without any problems.

    Any suggestions?

    Correction,

The site freezes when I enter the full URL as

    http://192.168.0.213/Hompage_01/Who_We_Are.aspx

Entering just 192.168.0.213/Hompage_01/Who_We_Are.aspx results in the unhandled exception.

    Hello JC,

Here is a link that points to RadMenu for ASP.NET AJAX documentation. Try setting the url like this - "~/mypage.aspx"

Let us know about the results.

    That worked. Thanks a lot.

BTW, Is it possible to include the Site Menu control in a template/masterpage?

    Thanks,
    JC

    Hello JC,

Thank you for getting back to me.

You can drag and drop SiteMenu control from the Toolbox and add the control to your template. If you want you could hardcode the Sitemenu control to your masterpage.

Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    Kind regards,
