    How do you sort by status or any of the non metadata fields of the SimpleContent object, such as ID, Status, Modifier, DateModifed, etc.?  These are defined in this blog post:

     http://www.sitefinity.com/blogs/ivan/posts/09-03-22/products_module_client_side_data_binding_custom_meta_fields.aspx

    I added a sort expression but it had no impact on the list page.

    Hi Shawn,

    You can use Link to do this.

    sample

    var manager = new ContentManager("Generic_Content");
    var list = manager.GetContent().Cast<IContent>().OrderByDescending(c => c.DateModified);

    I'm referring to the Module list page that uses client side data binding.  There isn't a way built into Sitefinity to do this?  You can only sort by the metadata?

    Hi Shawn,

    You can implement this in the web service of the client binder. There is no method in the API that allow you to make a filtering or sorting by property. When you click any item in the RadGrid this calls the web service.
