    Hi Nigel,

Please use short closing tags for all controls in your template ( "/>") instead of </Control>. The problem seems to come from Sitefinity parser and some control declarations in your template. If the problem persists, please send the problematic template.

    All the best,

Thanks, combination of that and not closing a tag at all :)

For the sanity of developers everywhere I would like to make a feature request on this one. Could this please give some indication on which tag it failed on (even if just as the string message of the exception). The old cutting out chucks of code and narrowing down where the error is is a very ineffectient way to code/debug. :)

    Thanks
    Nigel

    Hi Nigel,

We are working on a parser and I believe that we will be able to include a fix in the forth coming Service Pack.
