I am the content editor for a website being developed in Sitefinity 3.7. I want a page template that includes a tabstrip/multi-page view. I want each of the content items in the multi-page view (the "tab pages") to be a generic rich-text content item. Pretty straightforward.

My developers tell me the only way to build this is:
    - In Modules, create each content item as a shared module in the Generic Content module
    - In Pages, drop a tabstrip/multipage control into the page template, then open the control, then find each of the content items in the Generic Content Module, and then associate the module to the tab.

They say this means I could not edit the content on the page itself. I would have to track down the content in the Module and edit it there. This is backwards from the way an editor would expect to edit this.

I want to edit the tab content directly on the Page, not through Modules. Is there a way to do this? Is there an example implementation my developers can study? Any clues would help. Thanks.

    Hi Ben,

Please take a look at this posts

Here is a link to the RadTabStrip for ASP.NET AJAX documentation:

I've read all the posts, and the documentation, and I'm still not clear: Can I edit the content item on a pageview in a RadMultiPage directly in the page? Or must I create it as a Generic Content module and link to the module?

    Hi Ben,

You have to create RadTabStrip with RadMultipPage. In each RadMultiPage you should have ContentPlaceHolder. In each ContentPlaceHolder you can drop a control when you are working in PageEdit mode. This control could be generic content control where you use shared content created through the backend module or you can enter some new text.
