    Hello SelArom,

    No, we have not removed these controls from the toolbox. Could you please provide us with more information. For example, could you check if this is the only section in the Toolbox that is not visible any more? Are all other sections visible? No one else has reported such an issue.

    Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

    Best wishes,

    okay sorry guys this one was my fault! I disabled the Generic Content module because we do not use it for anything; all our content is through the specific controls like news and events...

    but disabling generic content also disables these controls like tags & categories as well as the content view and probably a few others. I don't think this is a good idea because even though we never use the specific module of Generic Content, we still make use of its controls like categories and such.

    is there any way to separate this so these controls can be disabled separately from the generic content module?

    thanks!

    Hi,

    Could you help to add for Tags and Categories UserControls one Dropdown list to select the providers to use. Actually you need to searching in the Properties>Data>ProviderName and add manually. Is ok for us but for clients is very hasardous. Regards

    Hello,

    Well, removing Generic Content module hides these controls indeed. The controls are added to the toolbox upon module load time. You can put them these controls back in the toolbox even if the module is disabled. You only need to add these lines in the web.config file, node <toolboxControls>:
    <add name="Tags List" section="Some Section"
      type="Telerik.Cms.Engine.WebControls.Tags.TagsList, Telerik.Cms.Engine" />
    <add name="Categories List" section="Some Section"
      type="Telerik.Cms.Engine.WebControls.Categories.CategoriesList, Telerik.Cms.Engine" />

    Romi, we think the same. This will probably happen when we change the control designers for all controls.
