    Hi,

I have a serious problem in Sitefinity. I hope I will get a solution to this problem soon.

We have links to some pdf documents in various pages and those files are stored in the files system at <root>/Res/Documents. We are using sitefinity link manager to build the anchor tags. It is adding additional attribute “sfref” to hold the portable url which is used to resolve the url in different hosted environments. Theoretically it should work fine. But for some reason the sfref attribute is being removed after publishing page and the urls are not resolved in different environments. The links are not working in one virtual directory hosted site if we uploaded them in a different virtual directory hosted site. I have tried trouble shooting this but had no luck. Please help resolving this issue asap.

Note: Same is with images too.

    Thanks,

    Kiran

    Hello Kiran,

There should not be an issue with sfref. The sfref is added by our LinkParser and this tag should not break the img link.  There are fixes to the LinkParser in SP4 and I suggest that you should upgrade your project .

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the reply. I think we are actually using SP4. It's version is: Sitefinity 3.7.2096.2:0 Please let me know if you have any fixes for this.
