Hi I'm working on the News module.  My client has requested that the author field use RADEditor.  I've tried setting this up in the admin templates and changing Author to LongText in the web.config.  The problem is RADEditor does not seem to be saving the Author.  Can you please advise?

    Thanks!
    Devin

Ah!  That was it.  Thank you Ivan.  Just out of curiosity why do certain fields have to go inside the ContentMetaFields control?  What does this control do and how does it work?

    Thanks!

    Hi Devin,

ContentMetaFields works only with predefined types, because the metadata could be of type

            ShortText,
            LongText,
            DateTime,
            Integer,
            FloatingPoint,
            Boolean,
            Guid,
            Binary

We have tried to cover the most commonly used type of the controls.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov
