We have recently updated our 3.7SP3 to 3.7SP4 and plumbed in the Ultimate Suite from the market place, the upgrade went well. I only mention this as we are now seeing issues with workflow. We always used to have a Send for Approval button above pages after edits, this disappeared and left us with having to use bulk approval views etc from the site map view of pages.

Since today we have lost the ability to even use this as the checkboxes down the left hand column of Draft, For Approval, Declined,  Approved and Published are now disabled (we only have page workflow enabled), interestingly these checkboxes are only disabled on the first page, when paging through to anything above the first page of any view and the checkboxes come alive! However we only have around 9 pages in draft view so a second page is not available, therefore we are not able to send for approval any of the draft pages...

Does anyone have any idea why Sitefinity is behaving in this manner?

    regards,
    John Colclough

    Hi John,

If you remove the Ultimate Suite you installed does the problem persists. Such issues could be caused only if there is some code that works with the workflow and Pages. You can test on demo.sitefinity.com where we use Sitefinity 3.7 SP4.

Thanks for the quick reply Ivan, I am currently working on 2 Sitefinity deployments, both 3.7SP4 and the one without the Ultimate Suite does not exhibit this behaviour, I've just checked. I have mailed the developer to see if they have seen this behaviour before, I'll update this thread accordingly after I have got to the bottom of it.

    kind regards,
    John.
