Comments List - Mapping the View not working - CommentsList.ascx

    You can see from my attachment what I did to create a custom CommentsList control.   The problem is that my changes are not appearing.  It is not reading from my custom control on all of the comments lists in the site.

    Hi Kaveh,

    Did you restart the application? There seem to be no reason for the template to not get applied.

    Yes.   I tried everything and it is a little confusing.   I eventually had to override the CommentsMaster in order to get it to work.   Why do some HostTypes work and others do not when overriding?

    Hi Kaveh,

     I'm really not sure why it won't work at your side, but this is the approach we've taken many times so far and mapping the template has worked as far as the template has a type, whihc can be used for its mapping. I'm glad you were able to get things work, though.
