They have just released a new version that supports Sitefinity 4.3.

Can we ever expect such a functionality or do we have to relay on 3rd party extension. Somehow this makes me feel like open source where you will have troubles on every update because the 3rd party stuff needs to be updated.

I think this is in our TO-DO list, however I am not sure when this feature would be implemented. As you know there are many upcoming features that wait to be implemented. We will try to fit this implementation into our schedule for the next major release.

'I think ' is another expression I don't like to read. Give me somehow the feeling it could be on a list but maybe not.

If you talk about trying to get it into the next major release. Is this like 4.4 or 5.0?

I can confirm that this feature is coming in 5.0 next year. We won't be able to add it for 4.4. Not sure if you know, but there won't be 4.5 release. We are going to 5.0 right after 4.4.

Thanks for the feedback. But be careful what you promise. You know we have a tendency to expect more :-)

While we at it and is going to be x-mas soon. how about my x-mas list for forms

- Usable in px mode (I can define the width of the form and autocolumn wont mess it up)
- Captcha
- Formsvalidation extended like (valid e-mail address for example, compare validation)
- More Styling option for width x-small, small, medium, large, e-large so we have  a wider layout range
- Add attachment (thats for 5.3 :-))

Along with the now promised (I told you - be careful) ability to have sent mails to recipients this would acutely make the long a appraised forms module usable for my clients.

Yeeeehaaa. Can't wait for 5.0 even though 4.5 would have been a nice number as well.

I agree absolutely, and we have already wireframes on how this will work. We'll add it to the product as soon as possible, but I cannot promise when exactly.

I just upgraded to 5.0 and I don't see the email in response to a form submit that you confirmed would exist in 5.0.  Was it included or not?
