How to send an email for successful registration.

    Hi,

    I'm facing a problem with sending an email for successful registration. I have done following steps to send email, but received nothing.

    - Setup system SMTP settings
    - Select "Send an email for successful registration after the confirmation" option on Registration(Beta) widget.

    I've checked the SMTP settings and they are working in Outlook. I'm on II7, WinServer 2008 Enterprise SP2. Sitefinity Version: 4.1.1501.0

    Not sure what else I have to do. Any tips?

    Hello Wang,

     This happens due to a bug with the widget that doesn't save the setting to send an email on successful registration. The bug is fixed in 4.2 (1650), so if you want to make use of this functionality, you will have to upgrade.
