I have found myself, completely unexpectedly, managing a Sitefinity 3.7 community site.

Having no experience with same, and no one locally to discuss things with, I thought I'd ask for help in here.

I have made, locally, a simple change to a Generic Content item (added a small image). I save the changes but when I view a template that uses that GC item, the old version is still displayed.

How do I get my changes applied to existing pages/templates given that CE has no workflow?

    Hello Stuart Hemming,

If you change the text does the content item gets changed? It is possible that the image is not displaying somehow. If possible attache several images that illustrates the steps you follow.

    Ivan,

    Thanks for replying so quickly.

    Here's what I did.

    1. I went to Modules | Generic Content and selected the "Logo" entry.
    2. I edited and saved it (see ss1.gif).
    3. I went to Pages | Templates and selected the appropriate template. ss2.gif show the template before my editing it.
    4. I selected the "Logo" content and opted to edit it. As you can see from ss3.gif, the edited content is there.
    5. I saved the changes and opted to preview the item. As you can see from ss4.gif, the original layout remains.
