I need to add a reference to my user control in the already existing blog command panel.

Can some one help me on how to do this.

    Hi Ivan,

I'm able to recreate this http://blogs.sitefinity.com/Ivan/Posts/09-02-24/Adding_child_views_to_the_View.aspx in my Generic Content module.

But I'm not able to recreate this is my Blogs module. I do not know were I'm going wrong.

Can someone help me on this.

    Thanks,
    Sharon.

    Hi Sharon,

The commands in Blogs Command panel are generated manually and the logic there is different. Please take a look at the Command Panel: Adding commands manually

    Hi Ivan,
I took a look at the post you mentioned, I do not know where these lines of code are, or where should I add those lines of code so that I could add a link to my user control in the Blog command panel.

    Thank You.
    Sharon Johnson.

    Hello Sharon,

Generally you need to create a new module that inherits from Blogs. Then create a custom control panel and add your views as the post shows.
Finally you can remove the default blogs module form your web.config file and replace it with the newly created.

    Best wishes,
