Hello Sharon,

Page titles are part of HeadContent data. You can work programmatically using as the sample below illustrates

CmsManager cmsManager = new CmsManager();
ICmsPage page = cmsManager.CreatePage("test");
page.Title = "ThisISMyPage"
cmsManager.SavePage(page);

Let us know if you need further assistance.

All the best,

Hi Ivan,
The page title of my Sitefinity Admin pages are like this - Sitefinity > Dashboard - Sitefinity 3.6.
I want the admin page titles to be - my site admin > Dashboard.

What must I do to achieve this.

Thanks a lot for your immediate support

Sharon Johnson.

Hello Sharon,

There are two options to get this working.

Open Sitefinity/Admin/Admin.master.cs, OnPreRender method add one of the lines below:

1. this.Page.Title = this.Page.Title.Split(new char[] { '-' }, StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries)[0];

2. call this.Page.Title = ".....";

Hi Ivan,
After trying your solution, I checked through all the admin pages, my titles in the edit page Edit [mypage] - Sitefinity 3.6 and preview page Preview [mypage] - Sitefinity 3.6 doesnot change the way I wanted it.

Please help me.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Sharon,

Create a custom class under App_Code folder that inherits from EditPage. Override OnInit event and add the code from previous post.

Then open Sitefinity/Admin/EditPage.aspx and Sitefinity/Admin/PreviewPage.aspx and in page declaration inherit from your custom class.

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Web;
using Telerik.Cms.Web;

///

/// Summary description for CustomEditPage
///

public class CustomEditPage : EditPage
public CustomEditPage()
{
}

protected override void OnPreInit(EventArgs e)
{
base.OnPreInit(e);

this.Page.Title = "....."
}

<%@ Page Inherits="CustomEditPage, App_code" MasterPageFile="~/Sitefinity/Dummy.master" %>
