    Hey Sitefinity Folk,

I was looking for some advice from people who have configured Sitefinity search indexes in a web farm environment.    In my test environment, I can get this to work just fine.

Do you just Start Indexing on one of the web farm servers and then copy the created indexes over to the other server?

    Any advice here?

    Thanks everyone!

    Hello Blake,

This should work just fine. Sitefinity does not handle the file synchronization, but this will be a feature of the 4.0 version. The indexing data is stored in the physical files, while the search index names (and options) in the database. Having that said, the only thing that should be moved are the files.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi
