    Good day.

I'm trying to create new image library. But when I click "Create the Library" button I have error:

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'content_id', table 'dbSitefinity_TMS.dbo.sf_Libraries'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.
    The statement has been terminated.

    Attachment is screen shot

That worked without any problem. I've already created about 30 libraries. But now I have that error. I use sql server 2008 R2 and IIS 7.5

Here are some data from sql profiler:

    exec dbo.sf_Libraries_ins @P_Application=N'/Libraries',@P_ID='661FE576-EE92-4279-9930-E398CAAAF8A4',@P_Name=N'Fans Images',@P_MaxSize=0,@P_MaxFileSize=0,@P_MaxFiles=0,@P_TypeName=N'Image',@P_Owner=N'admin',@P_LastModifiedDateEnabled=NULL,@P_ContentExpirationEnabled=0,@P_ExpirationOption=0,@P_ExpirationValue=N'0',@P_DateCreated='2011-06-16 15:25:47.297',@P_DateModified='2011-06-16 15:25:47.303',@P_RequireCaching=0,@P_CacheDuration=0,@P_CacheSlidingExpiration=0

Can you please help me? Where is problem? How can I solve it?

Thanks a lot for any info!!!

    Eugene

    Hi Eugene,

Is this an upgraded project or have you made some db modifications or modifications to the default provider.  Resolving such issues is quite hard, because all request to the database are controlled by Nolics. The problematic tables are dynamically generated by the layer (  we do not explicitly create then by the model).

    Hi Ivan,

No, this is not upgraded project. It was sitefinity 3.7 sp4 from the beginning. Also I don't make any changes in the database. I just created pages, libraries and add my own user controls(some controls use sitefinity API).

    Thanks,

    Eugene

    Hello Eugene ,

Is this shared database - several projects installed in one database ?

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'content_id', table 'dbSitefinity_TMS.dbo.sf_Libraries'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.
    The statement has been terminated.

In 3.x edition there is no column content_id in sf_Libraries. There is column content_id in Sitefinity 4.x editions. It looks like that you installed 4.x edition over the same database and now the project mismatch the tables. Please remove the other tables you added or just restore a backup.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov
