    I would like to require the user to use an email address for their user name and I would like to provide a ddl of choices for the Security question.  Would it be best for me to modify the CreateUserWizardControl.ascx or use some other method?

    Hello Shawn Davis,

    Thank you for using our services.

    You should edit the create user wizard control. My suggestion is that you put a regular expression validator for the username to make sure it is an e-mail. For example you can use something like this:
        <asp:Label ID="UserNameLabel" runat="server" AssociatedControlID="UserName">User name:</asp:Label>
        <asp:TextBox ID="UserName" runat="server"></asp:TextBox>
        <asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="UserNameRequired" runat="server" ControlToValidate="UserName"
            ErrorMessage="User Name is required." ToolTip="User Name is required." ValidationGroup="CreateUserWizard1">*</asp:RequiredFieldValidator>
        <asp:RegularExpressionValidator ID="usernameValidator" runat="server" CssClass="sf_emailValidation"
            ControlToValidate="sf2_email" Display="Dynamic" EnableViewState="false"
            ValidationGroup="CreateUserWizard1" ErrorMessage="Please input valid e-mail" ToolTip="Please input valid e-mail">*</asp:RegularExpressionValidator>

    Kind regards,
