We are using Sitefinity 5.0 for our www site but we have a customer web application that resides at a completely different web address. What we want to do is create a login form that posts the username and password to another URL . I have tried using the login widget and also tried creating a simple form but neither of these acheive the desired result. We are trying to duplicate the login box that appears on this site:

so that it will work on our Sitefinity site. What do we need to do to accomplish this?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but it is possible to create a user control (.ascx) that has a button where you can set the PostbackUrl to match the url of that form on the page (https://customer.cngc.com/login.action). Then you simply make sure that the input textbox names match the ones in the form ("username", and "password" you can enforce this by setting the Client naming to "Static") so that it submits those values properly to that url

I'm not sure this is best practice tho, because you are essentially logging into one site from another, and I'm pretty sure that's not recommended.

but I hope this is helpful!
