    Hi,

    I'm using Sitefinity 3.7 sp4 and i have a news view in my home page.
    I've used external template for news view.
    I've clicked "use a page especially prepared to hold the full info" and selected a page which uses my own master page.

    When i click on a news item on my home page it shows this error message :

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    The resource cannot be found.

    Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

    Requested URL: /MyNews/10-11-27/Vakıf_Yönetim_Kurulu_Seçimleri.aspx

    Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:4.0.30319; ASP.NET Version:4.0.30319.1

    What should i do now?

    Hello Yigit,

    You should have NewsView control on the page you have set as " especially prepared to hold the full info"

    Hi Ivan,

    In MyNews.aspx I also have a news View.

    I've created a MyNewsView Control that inherits Telerik News View.

    public class MyNewsView : Telerik.News.WebControls.NewsView

    i've used an external template; ItemListTemplateName templateName;
    protected const string templateName = "MyProject.Resources.ListPageDetails.ascx";

    it displays my NewsView the way i want it to be, yet the problem still remains.

    It also gives the same error when i choose "Auto generare a page that is the same as items list page"

    Thanks for the quick reply

    Hi Yigit,

    Can you replicate the issue by using two instances of the default NewsView control? You can test on your website and demo.sitefinity.com.

    I've tested my own NewsView and it worked just fine.

    Thanks for advice.
