    hi again

    Im editing te content of my site and i have wrote several content items one for each page i created. When i add the view content control, all the content items appear published in one single page. Is there a way to publish the content itmes one by one in its respective page?? i looked for some options in the edit menu but i don tunderstand very well cause it has so many parameters...

    thanks a lot!

    Hi raquel solis,

    Generally you create and set the content items data separately. Once you click on Save button the content item gets published. In case you use workflow the content is not published directly. It goes through the workflow steps.

    Let me know if there are any further questions.

    Hi raquel solis,

    Register the script separately from the GenericContent control - for instance, create a js file and make reference to it. Another options are

    • Adding reference to this script with another control ( the better option)
    • Adding reference to the script inside your master page.

    The call the script from GenericContent control using some js functions.

    well, i think i did no t explain myself alright, sorry my english is not that good :P

    i have this js script, i use it in general contents for colapsing panels. When i make the reference in the genericContent control when i save the changes the whole content desapears. So i tried to make the reference in the master page in the head tag right??? i have something like this:

    <head runat="server">
        <title></title>

        <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

        <link href="walmexStyle.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

        <script src="SpryAssets/sprycollapsiblepanel.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

        <link href="SpryAssets/sprycollapsiblepanel.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    </head>

    the reference to css is working but the script isn't... can i make it some other way??? i did not understand the adding reference to the script with another control solution..

    thanks!

    hi !

    i read the bolg and i paste the tag in the right place, i hope ;) i have something like this
    <body>
        <sf:JsFileLink id="jsLink" runat="server" FileName="SpryAssets/sprycollapsiblepanel.js"></sf:JsFileLink>
        <form id="form1" runat="server">

    but when i run it i get this error:  Parser Error Message: Unknown server tag 'sf:JsFileLink'.

    is that because of the Telerik.Cms.Web.UI dll thing?? it says that this dll must be registered on the page but i dont know what  it means...

    i'm such a newbie!!

    thanks!

    Hi raquel solis,

    You should be able to use JsFileLink with tag prefix telerik directly. This tag prefix is registered for the Telerik.Cms.Web.UI.dll in the web.config.

    <telerik:JsFileLink id="jsLink" runat="server" FileName=”~/…”></telerik>

    Hi raquel solis,

    I added the control in the master page and I was not able to reproduce the problem you reported.

    <head runat="server">
        <title></title>

    </head>
    <body>
        <form id="form1" runat="server">
        <telerik:JsFileLink runat="server" ID="JsLink1" FileName="~/Sgfsdfsdf.js" />

                     ...
                               .....

    Most probably you have missed to add the closing tag of JsFileLink. I am also not able to reproduce the problem with an user control.

    i changed this

    <telerik:JsFileLink id="jsLink" runat="server"  FileName=”~/…”></telerik>

    for this

    <telerik:JsFileLink id="jsLink" runat="server"  FileName="~/…" />

    and there's no more error... but the script still doesn´t work hehe i think i'll try something else...

    thanks anyway!!
