    when I enter in a new event, I can see the correct time on the view page, however, the database is showing the time 5 hours ahead, example;

    if I enter in an event that starts at 2:00 pm, its being stored in the db as 6:00 pm

    what is causing this

    i found a work around with this, however I would still like to know why the time is being saved in the database 4 hours ahead then what the user has entered in the admin pages

    Hi NuToSitefinity,

    Generally we get the DateTime.Now value, but it depends on where the SQL server is located and its time zone. In list template of the backend we use client side binding and we resolve the format based on the current culture Sys.CultureInfo.CurrentCulture
