    Hi,

    I have two questions:

Firstly, I'm using the EventsView control in the expandable list format. Which template does this use, as I can't seem to locate it in the external templates folder? I wish to remove certain fields, change the layout formatting - I assume I can do this via the template?

Secondly, why is it that the events don't show in chronological order? They appear to be displayed in the order they're added in the CMS - this makes no sense for a list of events. How can I correct this?

    Many thanks,
    Chris

    Hello Christian,

    1. The template is ExpandableListMaster.ascx. It is an embedded resource that you have to map to the control. You can take a look at How to map a template and Working with presentation modes

    2. In the Advanced section of the Control Designer, there is a section - Filters where you can set Sort Direction of the list.

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the quick response. This might sound a bit odd, but I don't hey an 'advanced' section in my control designer. I never had have in any of the modules since installation and might exmplain why I didn't find the filtering option!

I'm logged in as admin. What I see is attached.

    Kind regards,
    Chris

    Hi Christian,

You have some custom css classes or global skin for RadTabStip control that breaks the control designer. Could you expect the css classes that apply over the designer and see which of them apply over it.

You can see the default behavior of the control testing our demo website - http://demo.sitefinity.com/Home.aspx

    Hi Ivan,

Yeah, it was a CSS issue, which I've sorted. Thanks.

    Re the first problem:
What do I need to do exactly, I'm not following? I've already got a config.xml file (from other templates I've overriden), but can't work out what to put into it exactly in this case. The Presentation Mode part is really confusing me. Could you guide me through it please?

    Many thanks,
    Chris

    Hi Christian,

The easiest way to map a template is through ItemListTemplatePath and SingleItemTemplatePath properties of the control that are located under Appearance properties section of the control (Advanced tab).
