I've run across a problem with the Flash Manager.  I uploaded my swf file and placed it on my website however the link inside my swf file doesn't activate in sitefinity.  I tried running the .swf off the desktop, in a browser by itself and the link worked fine, but after uploading it to Sitefinity the link no longer works, it's as if it weren't even there.

I played around and figured out that my .swf was Flash version 10.  When i resaved my .swf as a Flash version 8 it worked!

Is there some glitch with Sitefinity that won't recognize the link inside a .swf on newer versions (10+)?

    Hello Christine,

We have not encountered such problem with flash files that require version 10 +. I think that the problem is somewhere in the path that is set for the <object> element ant its parameters - Movie and embed src. Could you verify the paths and whether they are resolved properly. If the problem persist, please send us a sample flash file and we will check it locally on a Sitefinity project.

    Hi Christine,

Could you give us the swf file you are using. The archive you sent us contains only the work fla file. Have you checked the paths and how they are resolved?

    Sincerely yours,
