    Hi,

    I'd like to know if it possilbe to order the forum's in Sitefinity. Right now, I create a forum, it appears at the bottom of the list. No exceptions. But I'd like to either specify the order ID when inserting a forum or to update the order to an existing forum.

    The existing forum angle is importent, because what if a customer wants to reorder existing forums? Deleting the forum for the sake or reordering is not a good idea.

    Could I be using a better forum control?

    Hi Charles,

    There is an option by changing Telerik.Forums.Data.DefaultProvider and replacing it in the configuration.

    <forums defaultProvider="Sitefinity">
                <providers>
                    <clear/>
                    <add name="Sitefinity" securityProviderName="" profileProviderName="Sitefinity" type="Telerik.Forums.Data.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Forums.Data" connectionStringName="DefaultConnection" visible="true"/>
                </providers>
            </forums>

    You need to override GetForumsUncategorized method and return the items in the order you want.
    Another option is changing the template of Forums control that is located under Sitefinity/ControlTemplates/Forums and rebind the repeater with the order you want to see.
    In the first case, where you replace the method, you will change the query for all requests to this method, the second option will rebind the repeater, so you will make double binding.
