    Hello,

Company I'm employed in is planning to transfer its website on Sitefinity 3.7, but on our current website we are using WebCEO's Hitlens service and we wouldn't like to abandon it. Have you got any information about the compatibility between Sitefinity and Hitlens. I would be very grateful for some information about how to integrate those two things and if it is possible at all.

    Kind regards,
    Maciej.

    Hi Maciej Skiba,

As far as I see it WebCEO's Hitlens service expects physical files when you make some modifications. Sitefinity pages are dynamic and you will not be able to use some of the features as FTP. I believe that there would not be a problem for the CEO Analysis.
Sitefinity supports external pages, so you can migrate your old pages to the project and keep using WebCEO's Hitlens service in the same way. The external pages could not be edited in Sitefinity's Page Editor - Drag/Drop controls, set Themes etc.

    Sincerely yours,

    Hi Ivan,

I've made more research on that issue and I've found a tutorial showing how to integrate Google Analytics with sitefinity (here). In short it looks like that to integrate Google Analytics with Sitefinity you only need to add a piece of javascript into all custom Master Pages in App_Master directory. So I think it's likey that Hitlens integration could look similar. Moreover on one of your pages I've found following information:

"CSG was able to deliver a professional corporate site installed on its own servers without any need to customize Sitefinity. The site is integrated with both Google Analytics and WebCEO Hitlens analytics."

Therefore I thought you could give me some solution or advise.

    Kind regards,
    Maciej
