    Hello Richa,

It depends on whether you use caching for the Rss feed or not. If you do not use caching the item should appear after the item has been created. In call cases when you restart the application the RssItem should appear in the feed. I

Well, in that case, it does not seem to be very user friendly.
On of our personal sites does not have caching enabled and a post created did not appear in the feed for four hours and even after that I had to restart the application by making a dummy change to the web.config file to make the post appear in the feed. Any reason that you can think of for the post not to appear in the feed?
So my next question is what about the clients who do not have access to the files hosted on the server and they create a blog post, then how will they restart the application?

    Hi Richa,

The post appears immediately at my end. Sample video has been attached.

    Hi Richa,

The provider does not matter. The posts shows immediately. Note that the RssItem depends on the PublicationDate of the blog post and BlogPosts page.

Ok that makes sense. I had not set the blog post url because i thought it was only for providing links in the feed. I have tested and it works fine. Thanks for all your time.
