    We are trying to simplify our directory structure, and I seem to be running into a problem.

    We would like to make it so there is a default page for a subdirectory -- so, instead of http://www.domain.com/subdirectory/page.aspx  it would be accessible by entering http://www.domain.com/subdirectory/ , the same way it would work with an index page.  Is that possible in sitefinity?  The whole aspx extension seems to be throwing things off...

    Hello Matthew,

    If you want to make this for a single page you can set it as a home page and
    Under <cms> node of the web.config could you add the following property

    "redirectToHomePage="true"

    If you want to do this for multiple directories you need to consider using rewriting or redirect.
