    Hi,
    i need a help that my office asking whether the following scenario is possible in sitefinity or not.please help me
    WE  have one master site and different child sites .Have three pages on master site and same three pages in child sites.what i need to know is
     if you enter and publish a content in a specific page in master site the same content should get published to the child sites as well
    for eg. www.Domain.com has three pages (About Us, Services , Advantages)
    i can have the child domains as www.Domain.co.uk ,www.Domain.co.in
    individually these three will be independent sites
    but will have a single content manager from sitefinity..Any help?

    Hi Anand,

    This could happen if you use a single content provider. All these websites

    www.Domain.com
    www.Domain.co.uk
    www.Domain.co.in

    should use the same content provider. You could use the main website www.Domain.com as a content storage. Inside www.Domain.co.uk  and www.Domain.co.in add a connection string that points to www.Domain.com. Then set the GenericContent provider of www.Domain.co.uk  and www.Domain.co.in to use the custom connection to www.Domain.com. By doing this you will share one provider between three websites and the content on all pages will be shared.

    <cmsEngine defaultProvider="Generic_Content">
                <providers>
                    <clear/>
                    <add name="Generic_Content" urlRewriteFormat="[Publication_Date]/[Name].aspx" urlDateTimeFormat="yy-MM-dd" urlWhitespaceChar="_" visible="True" defaultMetaField="Name" securityProviderName="" allowLocalization="False" allowVersioning="True" allowWorkflow="false" allowComments="true" commentsModeration="true" versioningProviderName="" connectionStringName="GenericContentConnectionCustom" type="Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data.Providers.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data"/>

    ....

        <dataAccess defaultConnection="DefaultConnection">
       <connections>
        <add name="DefaultConnection" driver="Telerik.DataAccess.Providers.ExtendedSqlServer2005Provider, Telerik.DataAccess"
         connectionStringName="Sitefinity" />
        <add name="GenericContentConnectionCustom" driver="Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data.Providers.GCSql2005Provider, Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data"
         connectionStringName="SitefinityCustom" />
       <add name="GenericContentConnection" driver="Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data.Providers.GCSql2005Provider, Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data"
         connectionStringName="Sitefinity" />
       </connections>
      </dataAccess>

    Hi Anand,

    You cannot share the templates. They should exists in all projects you have, since the template is physical file in App_Master theme. Add the template in all projects you have and you want to share. Then, restart the application.
