I initially signed up for shared hosting with GoDaddy after seeing the KB documentation which made me think it was possible, but after doing some research on the forums I noticed that a lot of people were having trouble with GoDaddy (or, more specifically, shared hosting in a medium trust environment) so I dropped their hosting service.

Could anyone provide me with a suggestion (hopefully based on experience) as to which web host/setup to choose when planning to use Sitefinity?  I would also like to know if there are any hosts out there that need to be avoided.  I can't afford hosting with a dedicated server, but VPS might be a viable option.

I'm specifically looking at VPS with Softsys, but I've looked at so many different hosts at this point that my head is spinning and I'm not sure which direction to go...

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Levi,

You could try discountasp. They offer special plans for Sitefinity and discounts.

I looked at Discount ASP.NET, and everything looks great, but a lot of people on the Sitefinity forums have complained that their service is very slow.

Many of these complaints were from older posts, so if things have changed then please let me know.
