Hi, I have been trying to become familiar with Sitefinity for about a week. I am really struggling with the customizing and navigation of the radcontrols.  I have built a few websites with the rad controls , Panelbar , menu , tabstrip, etc. But settting these up are slight lightly different in SItefinity. I looked at some of the videos but not a good solid example, unless i am missed it on adding just a rad panelbar and setting its navigation. I hate to sound stupid but even some screen shots of the settings and how it works.
I really want to use sitefinty and it maybe i am biting off more than i can chew but i don't want to give up on it.

And also i am still not very familiar with radcontrols. I am going to spend some time reading through the documentation on everything. But still some good examples would help me along.

    thanks again.

I took a look at the online demo. I saw that there was a group of pages under academics that on the left side of the page had their own navigation. I saw it was a site navigation control. How do you get that control to have only those items specific to that group.

    Hi John,

The TIU site uses the site controls from the Navigation section of the Sitefinity toolbox (see attachment) instead of RadMenu, RadTabStrip, RadPanelBar and RadTreeView. These are user controls that wrap the RadControls and make it easier to provide site navigation without using a separate data source.

For more information about using the navigation controls, please refer to the Sitefinity Developer Manual, section Navigation.

Do let us know what exactly you would like to implement and we will gladly provide an example.

    All the best,
    Rebecca
