    Hello. I unchecked the TAGS field in my download list but it is still showing up when I view the page.  How do I hide columns that I do not want to display?

    Thanks.

    Hi Eric,

    You can map the external template DownloadListTableMode using ItemListTemplatePath property of the control located at Advanced tab of the control. Then remove header information (created with the th element) from the template.

    <tr>
                    <th scope="col" id="TitleWrap" runat="server"><asp:Literal ID="Literal1" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Items_Title %>"></asp:Literal></th>
                    <th scope="col" id="ExtWrap" runat="server"><asp:Literal ID="Literal2" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Items_Extension %>"></asp:Literal></th>
                    <th scope="col" id="AuthorWrap" runat="server"><asp:Literal ID="Literal3" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Items_Author %>"></asp:Literal></th>
                    <th scope="col" id="UploadDateWrap" runat="server"><asp:Literal ID="Literal4" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Items_UploadDate %>"></asp:Literal></th>
                    <th scope="col" id="SizeWrap" runat="server"><asp:Literal ID="Literal5" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Items_Size %>"></asp:Literal></th>
                    <th scope="col" id="TagWrap" runat="server"><asp:Literal ID="Literal6" runat="server" Text="<%$Resources:Items_Tags %>"></asp:Literal></th>
                    <th scope="col" id="DownloadLinkWrap" runat="server"></th>
                </tr>

    Hi Eric,

    You can put this file anywhere you wish as long as the .ascx file and the directory containing the resx file (App_LocalResources) are in the same folder. Their default location is ~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Libraries/Modes/. You can map the control:
    <viewSettings hostType="Telerik.Libraries.DownloadList">
      <additionalTemplates>
        <add key="ItemListTemplatePath" layoutTemplatePath="~/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/Libraries/Modes/DownloadListTableMode.ascx" />
      </additionalTemplates>
    </viewSettings>

    If you use the default location.

    Best wishes,
