We are using a custom membership and roles database with many different defined roles to account for different websites etc.
When I have someone in a role other than "Admin"... let's say "cmsELPAAdmins" he is not able to view or edit page properties except for pages created by him.
For permissions on All Pages, I have every checkbox checked for that role except for "change permissions".
I can't find anything about permissions for being able to view or modify properties on a page.

    thanks in advance!

    Hi Scott Rozman,

The user you use to reproduce this behavior belongs to two or more roles where in one of these roles Allow right for view is denied. Deny right has higher priority than Allow and the user does not see the page.

Another option is that there is some other page inheritance parent >> child and in this case the parent could apply deny view right over the child.

The third option is you have set Deny View right for "Everyone role" which overrides all other rights for your custom roles.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Thanks, Ivan.
I needed to review his other roles and sure enough he was in a role for our template site (which has all of our pieces of a site without content) that was denied changing properties.
