    Hi,
    1. I've changed all urlWhitespaceChar="_" to urlWhitespaceChar="-" in web.config, but on front end, I still see urls(news, blogs, events) are like  "Aen_Acay_of_Pian_Asnts_jns.aspx", do I need to do anything to update the urls?
    2. I've some titles like "word - word - word", do you see any problems if I did the change above, I mean if the url becomes "word---word---word.aspx", can system get the page for "word - word - word"?
    Thanks,
  2. Ivan Dimitrov

    Hello li,

    1. urlWhitespaceChar should be changed in the providers declaration <cmsEngine> node and inside the specific config section for the provider like <news>

    2. I suggest that you should work underscore although having dashes should not be a problem.

    Hi Ivan,
    Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I've changed all urlWhitespaceChar including <cmsEngine> node and those specific config sections for the provider like <news>, <blogs>.
But the urls on the front end are still the same.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,

    Hello li,

If you create a new item do you get the correct results? The data for the old items has already been saved into the database and it is possible that the old urls are not replaces in this case.
