    The sample themes that are provided (Orange, Levels etc.) don't seem to have CSS classes that match the HTML.  When I create a news module and look at the source I see <h2 class="sf_newsTitle"> but no such class exists in the CSS.  Obviously I could create it, I'm just wondering, the classes that are there, are they legacy?  Why don't they match.  Are the classes for news somewhere else?

    Thanks.

    Hi Shawn Davis,

    Generally the classes and stylesheets for news are embedded into Telerik.News.dll. You can change the classes by overriding them with !imporant in your theme or map the external template and change Path property of CssFileLink control.

    Hi Shawn Davis,

    Here is a sample code that should be added to the theme css:

    .sf_newsTitle
    {
      font-size: 1.2em !important;
    }

    Best wishes,

    It doesn't work.  How does precedence work?  It must be being overridden by another setting.

    Hi Shawn Davis,

    There is a default News CSS file that is embedded and cannot be changed. You can either switch this CSS off if you use an external template or you can write more specific rules, in your site theme as suggested in the first reply to you. It is not possible set this class with important and not to see the change or you are trying to do something different.

    Please explain your goal in details. We will be more helpful then.

    Kind regards,
    Katia
