I downloaded and installed the community edition to test out on a new project.

Where in the Sitefinity Developer Manual or User Manual can I find details on how to change the required logo image and placement?

    Hi Briankb,

To change the style of the "Powered by Sitefinity" logo:

    1. Open your web.config file.
    2. In the section cms defaultProvider="Sitefinity" add the attribute communityLogo.
    3. Set its value to any of the available styles: Original, Dark or Light.

To illustrate, this is what the web.config file should contain if you want to set a Dark style for the logo:

    <cms defaultProvider="Sitefinity" pageExtension=".aspx" pageEditorUIMode="Overlay" disabled="true" communityLogo="Dark"

Please take a look at our UserManual 3. Sitefinity Community Edition License

    Thanks.

Is it possible to use the logos available for download specifically the \97x20\forLightBackgrounds.gif.

If so are there any other configurations and where do we place the logo files?

    Hi Briankb,

The only requirement for Web sites developed with the Sitefinity Community edition is that the “Powered by Sitefinity” logo is placed in the footer of every page. Feel free to use 97x20\forLightBackgrounds.gif in accordance of our license policy. Please follow the provided information in the previous post.

    Kind regards,

I am not understanding the information in the post about changing the logo.  I get the dark logo to appear from the choice of light, dark, original

But I want to use the 20px high dark logo from the choices as my footer is only 25px high.  How to I change it to use that image?

    Hi mystrymaster,

    The available sizes are:

    Original - 139x51px
    Light - 81x30px
    Dark - 81x30px

Unfortunately, we don't have the Light logo on a 97x20px scale. We will consider providing this as well.

    All the best,
