Thanks for addressing some of these critical issues so quickly!

With any luck this means I'll be able to add script back into generic content for my pitch next Monday.

is this just going to be dlls? because whenever a patch is released i always have to fix my control templates. in the future can you only include the files that actually changed? I feel like i have to copy everything and that causes me to have to rework all my templates since obviously yours won't match mine.

    Hi SelArom,

The changes will be just a few - to the Archive Control, and the bloggers list control for now. The rest would be just changing the assemblies in the bin directory.

Will the documentation and "Products" demo module be updated as well. Joe thought it would only take me 20-30 minutes for me to put it together so it should only take you guys 5 minutes tops.

    Sincerely,

    Ben

    Hello bnye,

Yes, we have that in mind. We will update it to use the latest version of the RadControls, and also make it fully compatible with 3.5 versions of Sitefinity.

    Hi Georgi,
Just wondering when SP1 might be released?   Would this Friday be safe to say?
    Thank you.

I would also like to know when you will be releasing the SP. We had problems with 3.2 and were informed to upgrade to 3.5. Now that we have upgraded to 3.5, we constantly have to do workarounds just to develop a site. Our development team cannot create a page without having to go an re-index the site after each  page is added. Only after indexing the site can they go back and make changes to the page. They also cannot add any menus that have a base index greater than 0.

It very frustrating when we are told to upgrade to the latest version for a fix yet the latest version is almost worse than the previous. We have told our clients that we would have a fix for this as of last Friday when you released the SP and now no one will respond to this thread.

    Hello all,

We are still working on the Sp1, which means that the fix is not canceled. We delayed it with a few days but we believe that this is for good.

    Hello there,

Is there any chance that a Hotfix will be released, to address some issues (like theInsert Link issue), before the Service Pack 1 for version 3.5 is shipped?

    Thanks,

    Steven

Wow! Nevermind, it looks like SP1 for Sitefinity 3.5 was released while I was composing my last post.

    Thanks again!

if it's at all possible, I'd like to know what changed inside the Sitefinity folder between the original 3.5 release and this patch. It took me a while to fix all my control templates and I don't wish to do this again unless it is necessary.

I've copied the bin folder and my web.config didn't need changin either. so far it's working locally but I would really like to be sure that I do'nt need to copy the sitefinity folder.

    thank you!

oh also are there are any release notes for this patch? thanks!

After running the Sitefinity_3_5_1747_standard.exe, I expected the EmptyProject.zip in the ProjectManager\App_Data folder to be updated;  However, it wasn't.  I had to use the Sitefinity_3_5_1747_standard_patch.zip and update it manually so that new projects included the updates.

Just thought I'd bring the issue to your attention.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback!
Josh, we are preparing the official announcement and release notes, they should be on our web site shortly. We are not able to provide the changes in the ControlTemplates. There are almost no changes in them, so we suggest you to take only those for the Images and Documents module for now. If you experience any problems - please get back to us.
One more thing that was supposed to be a secret - we are working on different concept with the templates. Starting from the next major version, you will not have to worry about overriding your changes in templates after upgrading.

    Kind regards,
    Georgi

Will you let us know when the documentation will be updated to include the Products module with Workflow and Tags? Thanks this is a great example.
