I created a User Control to allow me to select and .swf from a custom library. The user control provides the embed code and also handle alternative content by way of a generic content item, if the Flash player is not found.

In my custom library I'm finding that some .swfs will come in as a type "video" and some come in as a type "document".

Is there any info as to why this is the case? None of the .swfs are actually a video, but graphics and animations and in some cases some interactivity.

    thanks in advance...

    Hello Scott ,

We use RadUpload for uploading items and from UploadedFile.Content we get the mime type. Under Server 2008  and Chrome the ASP.NET control might passed different mime type. Our RadUpload is a wrapper of ASP.NET HttpPostedFile and we are not changing anything. This is from where the differences might come.

    Best wishes,
