    Hi all,

New Sitefinity user here, great product.  I had no problems getting it up and running on localhost.  Deployment went ok, had to make just a few changes to the web.config file.  Thumbs UP!!!!!!!

I was just (bragging) telling another programmer about Sitefinity community edition being free to use with the logo and easy to setup.  The programmer came to this site and was un-able to figure out where I got word Free from.  He is still under the impression that he has to pay $899.

It did take me a little bit searching to find the download for it.  Maybe the product page needs to point out "to download the community edition sign up for My Client.net".

My two cents...   I am very impress with Sitefinity, and the  'how to videos' are great, and would love to see more.

    Thanks for a great product

    Hi David,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We are going to make some changes to our website and our download sections. After that I believe that it will be more easily for the end users to find the right product.

    Kind regards,

    hey,

i have downloaded SiteInfinity Community version and i tried to set it up locally but i m having two issues.

when i try to open the ProjectManager firefox document its asks for a username password, i give my windows username and password but it doesnt work.... so what is the password for it?

and secondly when opened in VS2008 and tried to compile its gives me an error of DLL Telerik.Cms.ProjectManager.dll file not found.

kindly do let me know what to do about these two problems of mine....

    Hi Haris Jamil Dar,

The FF dialog requires your windows credentials. If there were correct you should be able to access the Project Manager. The second error could appear if you add inappropriate project to Visual Studio. I suggest that you should go through the following video tutorials - Bullet_Proof_Guide_to_Installing_Sitefinity_3_x. The installation process is the same for standard and community edition.

    All the best,
