    Hi,

I have a quick question re Site Maps on Sitefinity. I have recently submitted the link to my company's sitemap on Google Webmaster tools but they are informing me that the page is in HTML and it needs to be in a supported format such as .XML.

I have created the .XML sitemap now and I would now like to upload this onto our server but I am a little unsure as to which folder I should drop the XML sitempa into so that Google's crawler can find it at www.blahblahblah.com/sitemap.xml

Really appreciate any help on this one.

    Thanks

    Hello Fran O'Prey,

You should upload the file to the web site root. This means, in the same directory where the web.config and global.asax are located.

You may also use the following control - http://www.sitefinity.com/marketplace/modules/xml-sitemap-user-control.aspx

    I hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Georgi
