We run an application and will be using Sitefinity to publish the educational content, help sections, ect for the application. We want to implement SSO so that the content we publish is only viewable by people with accounts. So if the visitor is not logged into our application they are redirected to a login form.
I have been reading a few forum posts about SSO and Sitefinity, but from what I am understanding, most seem to suggest when this is implemented, all users, including employees here who log in to publish content will end up using the membership system of the application.
Is it possible to do SSO for only the consumers, and still use the SF login system for publishers and admins? I ask because I'm not sure if our member system has the proper roles. And how does that all tie back into the publishing permission settings in SF?
